Most people start their funnel experiments with a simple hose. Hold it on both sides, fill it, and then the funnel partner quickly turns it around to destroy the first hose.

It doesn't sound bad on paper, and let's be honest, it's a lot better than the boring canned drink. But it's only when you put the ball valve in that half a liter really kicks in! But why is that?

The powerful funnel kick is fundamentally based on the law of interaction in physics. This states that the effect of two bodies on each other is always the same and in opposite directions. Every pressure generates an equal counterpressure, which on earth is the acceleration due to gravity multiplied by the mass.

Because the ball valve is closed, the entire pressure of the beer is exerted on the outlet. When you open the valve, all of the kinetic energy is immediately released and a half-liter of beer is shot into your mouth with a real thud .
