BEER FAST! Get faster!
Your friends laugh at you when you're funneling because you're too slow? With these tips, you'll "outperform" everyone!
"Being fast" is the be-all and end-all in professional funnel sport. As with so many things, regular practice is the key to success. But the pressure is high, especially at the beginning.
Below we have listed a few tips for a better start in the funnel business:
1. The principle
First of all, we want to make one principle clear. The ball valve is ALWAYS fully opened! Timidly "half" opening the outlet leads to a distorted experience and (justified) derision and mockery from those around you.
So: open the ball valve completely !
2. Concentration is essential
The main factor influencing your pace when funneling is focusing on the upcoming bang. All eyes are usually on you, so concentrate on the upcoming refueling!
3. Don't be surprised
The pressure that awaits you behind the closed ball valve, especially with the DOPPELBUMS funnel , is enormous. It is important that you do not let yourself be surprised by the first kick . By pressing your lips to the mouthpiece, you have the best control over the first kick .
4. The first second is the most important
Recover quickly from the shock of the first kick when you open the ball valve! That hit home, but now you have to move on quickly. Because by the time your head realizes that it's pressing hard into your face, you could already have half the funnel finished. By taking as big a sip as possible at the first time, you'll take most of the pressure out of the hose.
With these tips, things should go a lot better next time. But above all, you need practice to quickly and safely master a completely filled funnel. The pressure build-up is extremely high when the DOUBLE BUMS funnel is completely full. This can be overwhelming for many people at the beginning, and you are not alone.
At this point, we would like to recommend our funnel comparison again, which will help you choose the right model. It doesn't matter whether you're a beginner or a full-time professional.
In this sense:
You should better beer fast!
